Position Overview:

The International Association of Dive Professionals (IADP) is seeking experienced and innovative Course Developers to join our team. We are looking for individuals who have a proven track record in developing high-quality course curriculums, specifically tailored for professional divers and businesses. Additionally, we welcome expertise in creating mainstream professional courses that can benefit small and medium-sized businesses. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing the skills and knowledge of our members, promoting best practices, and supporting the growth of the diving industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development:

- Design and develop comprehensive course curriculums for professional divers and diving-related businesses.
- Create mainstream professional courses that address the needs of small and medium-sized businesses, including topics like management, marketing, and operations.

Content Creation:

- Develop engaging and educational content, including manuals, presentations, videos, and assessments.
- Ensure all content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with industry standards and regulations.

Quality Assurance:

- Review and revise existing course materials to enhance their effectiveness and relevance.
- Implement best practices in instructional design and adult learning principles.

Collaboration:

- Work closely with subject matter experts, instructors, and other stakeholders to gather input and feedback.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance & Legal Department to ensure all courses meet legal and regulatory requirements.

Evaluation and Improvement:

- Develop evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness of the courses and gather feedback from participants.
- Continuously improve courses based on feedback, industry trends, and advancements in diving practices.

Qualifications:

Professional Experience:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development or instructional design.
- Experience in the diving industry or in developing courses for professional divers is highly desirable.

Skills and Competencies:

- Strong instructional design skills and familiarity with adult learning theories.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning materials.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems.

Personal Attributes:

- Passion for diving and a strong commitment to the values and mission of IADP.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

- A degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- Certification in instructional design or a related discipline.
- Experience with online learning platforms and digital course delivery.
