Position Overview:

The International Association of Dive Professionals (IADP) and its subordinate marine conservation projects, GOBLU3, are seeking experienced and motivated Fundraising Specialists. These individuals will play a crucial role in supporting our project managers and international partners by writing grants and fundraising proposals, setting up fundraising initiatives, and ultimately securing funds to support our mission. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record in fundraising and grant writing, with knowledge of CRM systems being an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Grant and Proposal Writing:

- Research, identify, and write grant proposals to secure funding from foundations, corporations, and government entities.
- Develop compelling and well-researched fundraising proposals tailored to the needs of IADP and GOBLU3 projects.

Fundraising Project Setup:

- Assist in setting up and organizing fundraising projects and campaigns.
- Work collaboratively with project managers to align fundraising strategies with project goals.

Donor Relations and Engagement:

- Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and potential donors.
- Provide regular updates and reports to donors on the impact of their contributions.

Collaboration and Coordination:

- Collaborate with international partners and stakeholders to identify funding opportunities and needs.
- Coordinate fundraising activities and campaigns to maximize outreach and impact.

CRM Management:

- Utilize CRM systems to manage donor information, track interactions, and analyze fundraising performance.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of all fundraising-related data into the CRM system.

Qualifications:

Professional Experience:

- Proven track record of successful grant writing and fundraising proposals.
- Experience in fundraising for non-profit organizations, preferably in the marine conservation or environmental sector.

Skills and Competencies:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- Ability to craft compelling narratives that align with the mission and goals of IADP and GOBLU3.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and fundraising software.

Personal Attributes:

- Passion for marine conservation and a strong commitment to the values and mission of IADP and GOBLU3.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

- A degree in Communications, Non-Profit Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Experience with international fundraising and donor engagement.
- Knowledge of marine conservation issues and the diving industry.
