Position Overview:

The International Association of Dive Professionals (IADP) is seeking motivated and dynamic individuals to join our team as Sales and Marketing Gurus for our memberships and magazines. These individuals will be responsible for regional sales and marketing efforts in Europe and North America. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in sales and marketing, with a proven ability to develop and implement effective strategies, write compelling press releases, and coordinate successful marketing and fundraising campaigns. Knowledge of using a CRM system is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Marketing Strategy:

- Develop, coordinate, and implement regional sales and marketing strategies for Europe and North America.
- Identify and target potential members and advertisers to grow IADP’s membership base and magazine subscriptions.

Press Releases and Communications:

- Write and distribute press releases to promote IADP’s activities, events, and publications.
- Oversee all communications, ensuring consistent and effective messaging across all platforms.

Campaign Coordination:

- Coordinate marketing and fundraising campaigns to support IADP’s mission and goals.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed.

Member Relations:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with members, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Engage with members regularly to understand their needs and interests, and to promote IADP’s offerings.

CRM Management:

- Utilize CRM systems to manage member information, track interactions, and analyze sales and marketing performance.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of all sales and marketing-related data into the CRM system.


Professional Experience:

- Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the non-profit, diving, or publishing industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies.

Skills and Competencies:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to create engaging content and compelling marketing materials.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and marketing software.

Personal Attributes:

- Passion for diving and a strong commitment to the values and mission of IADP.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive and proactive attitude with a customer-focused mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

- A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with international sales and marketing.
- Knowledge of the diving industry and related publications.
